“Cricket” is a promising young bitch out of Telltail Life of Riley x Ch. Redbud Across the Universe. We are super excited to start this girl’s show career in early 2020. She has a lovely silhouette like her mother and gorgeous type. She is smart as a whip and loves to please. We see her excelling not only in the conformation ring but in various performance venues as well. She earned her first trick dog title at 9 months old and has 2 legs toward her rally novice. She was recognized as Best Opp Sex puppy at a very competitive specialty as a 6 month old pup.
Updates: she earned 3 majors in two weekends and only needs 2 points to finish her championship. We decided to hold her back so that she could show at nationals, so she will be taking a break from the show ring until our national specialty in June 2021! She is a special girl!
Nationals this year far exceeded our expectations! The compliments we received about our sweet little Cricket made us so proud! Cricket’s amazing handler and good friend, Christina piloted her to a second place win in her sweeps class which ended up being a warm up to winning her open class! Receiving these wins at a national specialty was the highest honor! I am so proud of our little girl that we bred and raised in our home!
Another update: Cricket is our first home bred Champion! She took a 4 pt major to finish her championship in style! So proud of our girl!

We decided to take Cricket out into the breed ring, and her first weekend, she earned 3 major wins (14 pts) toward her grand championship. She even went on to win a herding group 3 placement. To say we are over the moon would be an understatement. This girl has far exceeded our expectations. She gets better and better!
After 3 weekends of showing in the breed ring, Cricket earned her grand championship in style with a BOB! She made the first cut in a larger herding group as well. She has been a dream to show, and I’m proud to say we finished her grand championship with myself at the end of her lead.
We hope to breed Cricket at the end of the year if we can find the perfect stud dog. Otherwise, we may keep taking her out to show because she loves it!
